Natural Reflex Therapy™
"Stimulating the body's natural ability to restore Balance"
What is Natural Reflex Therapy™?
NRT™ is an advanced form of complimentary bodywork within the category of massage therapy.
How does it work?
An NRT™ practitioner is knowledgeable and experienced in working with the complex system of reflex points found throughout the body that affect a wide variety of physical ailments, including neurological, muscular, lymphatic and endocrine dysfunctions. When there are health problems, pain or trauma we find that careful stimulation of the reflexes restore the body's natural balance or homeostasis.
- Shoulder & Neck Discomfort
What can I expect?
AN NRT™ session begins with learning more about your health history. Your answers on the intake form will give your practitioner a good place to begin discussing your objectives. Clients new to our Institute may complete a medical history intake form either in the office or by downloading the form and bringing it to their appointment.
Is NRT™ like a massage?
NRT™ clients are treated fully clothed, though you will be lying comfortably on a massage table. Stimulation of the reflex points throughout the body tends to make the body feel very relaxed, soothed and comfortable.
Creams or lotions may used for reflex work with the hands and feet.
A practitioner of NRT™ will insure that treatments do not initiate counterproductive pain responses.
Clients leave feeling tranquil, refreshed and more in touch with their body.
Can anyone benefit from Natural Reflex Therapy™?
Yes, NRT™ is suitable for all ages. Your NRT™ practitioner has worked with infants as young as 2 weeks old to seniors in their late 90s. Many wonderful pet friends have received NRT as well.
