Do you suffer from stress, anxiety, restless sleep or agitation? Are you struggling to quit smoking?

NADA stands for the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association. It was developed initially for addictions in 1972, and it is now being used worldwide for behavioral health, trauma and disaster relief.

What is it?
The NADA protocol is a painless, needles only approach to healing which involves the placement of small, sterile acupuncture needles into both ears (up to 5 in each ear). This gentle acupuncture treatment is designed to support the recipient with other modalities he or she may be employing including medication, counseling, education, and self-help groups.

The benefits of ear acupuncture include:

  • Reduced cravings for drugs, alcohol, and/or nicotine

  • Minimized withdrawal symptoms

  • Increased calmness

  • Improved sleep

  • Decreased agitation

Besides relief from stress and emotional trauma, it has been shown to help people connect to counseling better. The NADA website also reports that recipients report a discovery of inner strength and quiet.

The cost is $35. We invite you to try acupuncture--it has helped many people with PTSD. Schedule your appointment online or call us at (210)967-4400.
